Earlier this year, it was reported by researchers from the firm Kaspersky Lab that the tech manufacturer ASUS had its automatic software update servers compromised by attackers in an operation dubbed by Kaspersky as Operation ShadowHammer. At the time of the report, details on the MAC addresses were not disclosed. However, it was discovered that the attackers targeted specific users.

To help combat this situation, Kaspersky has released a tool for users to search on whether they are on the target list which can be found here.

As detailed in an article from thehackernews, it may be difficult for large organizations to see if they were on the target list. To help solve this problem, the Australian security firm Skylight contacted thehackernews and released the full list which was retrieved by cracking the salted hashes of all the MAC addresses from the offline tool Kaspersky released.
